Easter 2014 collection and Littlest Sweet Shop now available at TFS

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers!

Here it is finally - our new Easter/Spring collection! Sorry for the delay, it was meant to be launched last week but I have been awfully busy contributing to an upcoming polymer clay charm book. The weather today was cloudy (as it usually is) but I managed to get some new shots. Do expect more photos featuring all these new Easter items in the coming weeks. Everything featured on this entry can be found in the Seasonal menu.

But before we check out the new Easter items, I would like to wish all of you a Happy St. Patrick's Day.

The girls managed to make some new St. Paddy's Day-themed treats for the sweet shop. You get this cookie for free when you request a commission worth above £15 (valid until this Friday only).

The Easter and Spring new arrivals:

Easter cookie hamper. Comes with 4 iced sugar cookies in a wooden plant pot painted with Laura Ashley paint. Each bunny is completed with a twine ribbon.

Easter chocolate eggs. Available in dark and white chocolate

Easter animal macarons. Each animal has a unique filling! Chocolate for the piglet, Orange cream for the chick and Mint cream for the bunny

Spring jellies in flower and butterfly designs. You can choose from 2 sizes and have it in any colour with additional filling (sliced fruits, glitter) or even colour layers

I got also got a new treat stand for the shop! Perfect for all of the Easter goodies :)

The website is based in the US (but ships internationally) and currently sells limited edition sets that are one of a kind! I only accept commissions so this is the only official store-front for Littlest Sweet Shop miniatures. Click on the banner above to get some new treats for your dolls!

First Day of Spring

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers :)

We had a lovely day today so I decided to take the girls outdoors for the first time. They even brought their own dessert from the new Easter range (SNEAK PEAK ONLY!)

I should be able to launch the whole collection on this blog by next week. For now, please enjoy some pictures of the Littlest Sweet Shop maids.

Ice cream cake and new updates!

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers!

I'm so pleased to meet the deadline for a big commission that I was working on solidly in the last 2 weeks. I can now focus all my attention back to the Sweet Shop and come up with some new arrivals!

New updates and products

First new item is ice cream cake. I just love ice cream cake and even remember my first piece. It was chocolate ice cream on vanilla cake at a birthday party decades ago. I love cake and I LOVE ICE CREAM. It's a yummy treat for any occasion so every cake will be open to any customisation including the ice cream flavour, cake mix, decoration and more! Check it out now in the Ice-Cream menu. 

Mint choc chip ice cream cake with butter-cake and pink vanilla icing.

I also made new improved Mont Blanc designs. The decoration is now kept simple and you can get it in 3 different flavours: Sweet Potato (purple), Chestnut and Green Tea. It is a popular Japanese dessert but it is located in the French Pastries menu 

Mont Blanc means white mountain. The peaks of these cute pastries are dusted with some 'snow' (powdered sugar). You can also have them decorated with gold or silver sprinkles.

I've also been using more of my 'sauces' from the Tamiya Decoration Series. It gives a realistic and glossy icing to almost anything and everything! 

Updated éclairs with chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce. Find it in the French Pastries menu

Milk strawberry sauce looks super yummy and sweet on this doughnut! Available now in the Bakery menu

Cherry Cream chocolate cake. Available in the Cakes menu

Swiss rolls iced with milk strawberry and strawberry sauce. Also available in the Cakes menu

Pretzels with new toppings. Plain salted pretzel, Salted caramel and almond pretzel, Chocolate and candy pretzel. All available now in the Bakery menu

Before I sign out, let me introduce you to our new Littlest Sweet Shop maid. Her name is Akiko and she loves strawberry shortcake.

She will be the last maid, unless we expand the shop :)

Here she is with a sneak peak to our upcoming Spring 2014 collection. It will make it's proper debut alongside the other Easter goodies VERY SOON. I have to make several trips to London next week but I'm still going to try to complete the new Easter range by Shrove Tuesday.

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers <3

I hope you are enjoying this Valentine's Day weekend with your sweetheart. My Valentine (aka husband) was sweet enough to get me a cotton candy machine to celebrate our love (and my sweet tooth).

I'm currently working on that big commission that I was talking about in the last post but still managed to create some new product updates!

First update - CAKES! You can check out each cake individually in the Cakes menu.

We have also been enjoying the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. It's a great excuse to make these flag cookies so your dolls can support their favourite teams over a cuppa! The icing for these cookies had to be done using a needle since it requires fine and intricate craftsmanship!

Maya and Naru loves watching the figure skating event. Maya gets a bit over-excited when she cheers on her favourite team. Naru enjoys some Littlest Sweet Shop popcorn which is a great snack for TV time.

Freshly baked BREAD!

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers!

Here is a mini mid-week update! I've taken some new shots of Littlest Sweet Shop bread alongside some new ones.

As promised, the new maid (Naru) in action! I'm totally smitten with these Sweets à la mode dolls from Azone. I've just purchased another one (OMG!) and she will probably arrive hopefully by Valentine's Day. My plan is just to get just one girl from each pair they release since they cost a lot of £££s. 

Since we have a second maid working in the shop, Maya has gotten lazy

Naru is a Pureneemo Chocomint Lycee doll. She loves serving ice-cream!

My recent commission was to cater a tea party picnic. The clients were Pureneemo XS and Picco Neemo dolls so the doughnuts were done in 1/8th scale which was a perfect size for them. Since most of Littlest Sweet Shop items are hand-modelled - sizing of the food can be customised.
