A hot hot summer!

Hej hej (pronounced Hey hey) Littlest Sweet Shoppers!

I just came back from Sweden for a very long super summer holiday. It was actually warmer in Sweden especially with their longer daytime (It only got dark at 11 PM) and clear blue sky weather. The whole country is gorgeous. The nature, the woods, the lakes, the wooden houses, the people - JUST ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

OK - enough about my holiday. There are going to be a few updates on today's entry including some new items and more ice-cream cones :D

In July, Crafty Arts (UK based art supply shop - also where I get my polymer clay supplies from) had given me some new FIMO Professional clay to try out. I made some fantastic rainbow lollipops with such vivid colours using the new clay. You can read my review here:

Thank you Staedtler and Crafty Arts for the generous gift! This will definitely make Littlest Sweet Shop and even more colourful world.

My most recent commission is this pair of double scoop ice-cream cone in 1/3 scale. It was the first time I got a request to make one ice-cream cone to look like it was melting. I love it when clients give me new challenges! I hope that her SD doll will like it :)

I also made more parfaits for some of our loyal customers (1/3 scale Azone dolls)

And the most important news of all is that we now have a new Littlest Sweet Shop maid! Her name is Yuffie (named after the character in Final Fantasy VII).

Now there are 4 Littlest Sweet Shop maids. (L-R Yufie, Akiko, Naru and Maya)
Since it's been summer holidays, all of us have been taking a break from work. The girls (and me) enjoy ice-cream almost every single day since they don't have to work at the Sweet Shop.
Happy Summer!

Akiko loves her ice-cream too but she's not as greedy

And last but not least - some new items added into the Bakery menu:
Stroopwafels. My favourite snack whenever I'm in Amsterdam. Wafer with caramel filling
Plain and chocolate meringues (that was left out in the last post)
So I've finally finished decorating my new room. Puppen Haus has a permanent spot in the corner and it's looking great as always. I keep falling in love with this dollhouse every single day. I had to make some minor repairs since it was slightly damaged when it was moved from it's old spot.

Hope you can visit us again next week so I can share more Puppen Haus updates and photos of the new lollipops that were made using FIMO Professional.

See ya!
