New Arrivals - MOAR Animal Doughnuts, Valentine's Day cakes, Mandarin Oranges and Corn Dogs. Also - Kawaii Box Giveaway Winner Announcement

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers!

Since the animal doughnuts were best sellers, I decided to make new variants! I wanted to use new colours like blue and purple and include some popular characters (and turn them into yummy doughnuts). Each fluffy doughnut base is covered all over with sugar icing. Looks glossy and sweet!

The new line-up can be found in the 'Bakery' menu:

'Penguin' Doubutsu Doonatsu
'Owl' Doubutsu Doonatsu
'Hello Kitty' Doubutsu Doonatsu
'Pikachu' Doubutsu Doonatsu
Dark Pink 'Cat' version, Pink 'Bunny' version, and Pikachu Doubutsu Doonatsu
Our last new animal doughnut is the Japanese mascot - My Melody. My Melody is the Sanrio character that I love the most and it's her 40th Anniversary this year so I'm planning to model more items in her honour. I can't believe she is 40 years old! My favourite memories of childhood includes trips to Jusco (a Japanese shopping department) for My Melody stuff.

Valentine's Day is less than a month away so be sure to check out our 'Seasonal' menu for our V-Day themed products. I'm just adding a few new items for this year and here they are:

Heart-shaped cakes and macarons. Chocolate fondant heart cake with light pink icing

Remember these sweets?

Love Hearts Candy

These cakes can be made to resemble any Love Hearts sweets ^_^
The thick fondant sugar will be pastel coloured and written with red clear icing.

Have your own Valentine's Day slogans on our heart cakes - just like Love Hearts sweets!
Pastel heart shaped macarons

The 'Brunch' menu has also been updated with a new arrival - Corn Dog. I love corn dogs even though it's not really available here in England. I actually make my own corn dogs with real cornmeal and traditional English sausages XD

Still tasted great! It's actually better than pretzel dogs (another food item I love)! Dolls should be able to enjoy this tasty snack as well so here they are. The ones in our shop are drizzled with some ketchup but you can also have mustard if you wish.

Chinese New Year is coming up so I'd like to wish you Gong Xi Fa Cai!

In case you didn't know, 2015 is the year of the Sheep - that's why she's dressed like a cute sheep :D

We also received a case of fresh juicy and sweet mandarin oranges. The fortune cookies and oranges are available in the 'Seasonal' menu.

Before I say good-bye, I'd like to announce the winner of the 'Kawaii Box' giveaway. The lucky Littlest Sweet Shopper is:

Olga Voinova

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your Kawaii Box which is currently on its way to you. For the rest of you who entered, please do not be upset. I will be holding our first giveaway via Facebook when we reach 1000 FANS! It will be a set of Littlest Sweet Shop Food (OMG!)

New items - sliced bread and a new deli menu

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers! Let's start 2015 with a brand new menu - Delicatessen

I can't believe that I made so many new things over the New Year holidays (when outside is dark, cold and gloomy - you can be super productive indoors) but I can only add a few to the shop one blog post at a time. Winter is the worst weather for photography since we get only a few hours of daylight and I already use half of that daylight hours to do house chores and cooking. By midday I'm serving lunch so I only have literally an hour to snap as many photos as I can XD
Anyway, back to the news of our new menu. Yes, we now have a deli section that will be filled with different types of cheeses, cured meats and sandwiches!

For now, the new cheese line will debut first. You can order just a slice or a whole cheese wheel for your dolls. These also come in 1:12 scale so you can stock-up a doll-house deli.
Various cheese handmade by Littlest Sweet Shop. Have it with wine and a crispy slice of ciabatta
Red Leicester wheel with one slice
Brie wheel

Swiss Cheese
Edam with a thin layer of wax on the outside
Mature stilton with blue veins and 'crust' detailing
Classic cheddar (also my all time favourite)

We also made new items to serve with the cheese. They are all in the Bakery menu and sold in slices.

Ciabatta slices. Traditional Italian bread with large holes in the middle made with olive oil

White sliced bread. Recommended to be used in breakfast settings (obviously)
Sliced baguette. Arrange them into the bread basket for any dinner setting!
Last but not least, here is something for Chinese New Year. In the west it is common to get these with Chinese take-outs all year round but our fortune cookies are listed in the Seasonal menu. I will eventually make a few more Chinese New Year items because it's just so much fun ^_^
All fortune cookies come with a paper fortune stuck in each one of them (each with a special fortune)
1:6 scale fortune cookies size comparison

There are almost 500 Facebook Littlest Sweet Shoppers (yeay!) so make sure you are also a fan since it is the only way to get exclusive sneak peak on new items that just came out of our kitchen.

I will be back again next week with more new items! This is an exciting start to a great new year ;)

Bye!

Christmas at the Littlest Sweet Shop

Happy Holidays!

I can't believe the year is almost over! This is the last entry for 2014. It has been a good year although the shop was closed throughout Spring and Summer when I had to move to a new house. Despite that - many new achievements were unlocked and I feel so blessed.

2015 will be an interesting year for Littlest Sweet Shop so make sure you visit regularly. I will be blogging for Sculpey and creating a tutorial for them in the month of July. I'm also currently developing a kawaii accessories line and some new Animal Doughnut characters will debut in the new year.

Make sure you follow me on Facebook to get instant updates directly. We almost have 400 fans!

For now, here are some Christmas scenes in 1/6 scale miniature to finish off 2014.

New in: Christmas 2014 Collection

Hello Littlest Sweet Shoppers!

Finally it's here! The new 2014 Christmas collection - including some upgrades on previous items. Find it all here in the Seasonal menu.

I have to apologise for the delay. I know it's too late to commission any of these but the ones here are currently in stock and will be sold on a first come first serve basis (while stocks last). If you are interested in purchasing them, please send me a direct message (my email address available on the FAQ).

So our first new item for 2014 are these deluxe (upgraded) Gingerbread Houses. Why deluxe? I decided to make them bigger and better with more details! It just makes a very cute centrepiece for any Christmas party and the perfect decoration to make a home/diorama more festive.

The size of the base is 5cm x 5cm and the height is around 5 cm tall. A good size to feed quite a number of dolls!

This Gingerbread house has a pink wafer door and rainbow roof shingles. Gingerbread men and candy canes not included with any Gingerbread houses
Chimney tips are swept with powdered sugar (and can be used to stash candy cane)
Hand-painted traditional design on the side of the houses. You can opt for 3 or 5 different coloured sweets for the roof shingles. The green glittered base is a yummy fondant which is also the house foundation
The back of the houses have different designs. 2nd from the left is adorned with cute biscuits and 3rd from the left is decorated with pastel marshmallows
Some sugar cookies here have been re-done with a more traditional and realistic effect. These are timeless so you can use them every year!

Snowmen cookies. Scarf and multicolour button detailing with coal eyes and mouth and carrot nose
Gingerbread men cookies. Couldn't decide to do eyes in white or black but you can choose whatever you prefer
Stoking cookie which can be personalised with the first letter of your doll's name. This makes super cool personalisation!
Christmas tree cookies in different styles
Some new and old sweets:

Winter green and red candy canes
Pink candy canes
Snowflake mints
Christmas tree candy cane
Xmas lollipops in winter green and red colours
Chocolate xmas pudding treats
Since Christmas is a big holiday, I thought I'd create bigger centrepieces. Here is a cute Christmas tree that can stand up in the middle of a banquet.

Last but not least, another big centrepiece in the form of chocolate! This whole sleigh has been handmade from chocolate and hand-painted with white chocolate. I will include at least 8 different presents in various colours that you can arrange on the sleigh. They are tiny cakes in the shape of presents! How Christmassy is that?

Little cakes in the form of presents included

Phew! That wraps it up for the 2014 Christmas collection. I actually plan to do more Christmas themed treats but I think they can wait for 2015 ;)

Come back next time to check out a Littlest Sweet Shop Christmas featuring Maya, Naru, Akiko and Yuffie. Enjoy the holidays :D

Bye for now ^_^
