May Day new arrivals

Hello!

I've been missing for a week since I was away for a short break. It was a bank holiday last weekend and I went on a trip to the south of England. It was beautiful and sunny for at least 3 whole days!

I'm back now to start working on a big commission and I've just updated the menu with a few new items. Besides that, I have also edited the pricing of my miniatures on the menu. Prices are just an estimate but it should give you a rough guide on how much my services would cost before you request a commission.

New items in the Cake menu:

Fruit cake slices

Available in all varieties

New items in the Sweets Boutique menu:
Milk and dark chocolate bears
Here are some new packaging updates:
Display boxes now available for your miniature sweets

French pastries in a box
Right now I'm just waiting for my new doll to arrive and I can't wait to take pictures of her in the diorama. It was shipped quite recently so expect to see her in the next upcoming post!

Have a great mini week!

New shelves for the sweet shop

Hi again!

All my new boxes have certainly made the Sweet Shop look cluttered! I spent all Saturday morning constructing some new shelves - tucked away in a corner of the Sweet Shop.

Since the shop's theme has always been shabby-chic, I decided to use Cath Kidston's 'Gingham Rose' for the shelf covers. I also added a pink gingham ribbon on the sides.

Boxes are all handmade by me

There is also a new item in the Jelly menu. I also made a 1:3 version but it will be revealed with the other 3rd scale items (soon! I promise!)
Gélatine à la mode
Some other updates: new photos around the Littlest Sweet Shop.

That's all the updates for now. See you again next time!

Coffee and Donuts

Hello!

So somebody made the weather gods angry because there is snow falling in May! It's also inconvenient for me since I now rely on taking my pictures outdoors. I don't need to edit any photos now and the natural light really makes my miniatures look extra special. I managed to take these today and it's all about my new and improved donuts. The are listed in my 'Bakery' menu.

Donuts V2.0
Features new donuts using Tamiya deco sauce

New to the range - MINI donuts! What would you call them, miniature mini donuts?
Littlest Sweet Shop Donuts bar

As usual, a free window box. Terms and conditions apply
I made mugs for coffee. The 'coffee' is made using Solid Water
Donut boxes are used cute stripey designer paper.
In addition to this, I've also updated other menus with new gift box options (terms and conditions apply). It's usually free with a few orders but they are also listed individually with prices.

Biscuit gift boxes. Also great for the sweets pick'n mix
Window Box for French Pastries
Large handle box for Jelly and Bakery items
And last but not least, I have a new chocolate display in my sweet shop. It's really cute and features a new confectionery product - but I'll get into that more next time!
I hope you enjoyed this update. Thank you for visiting my blog :)

Great miniatures come in small packaging

Happy May Day everybody!

I have to admit, I haven't really done much modelling this week since it was so nice and warm outside! Whenever we have good weather, we make the most out of it so I'm usually out in the garden, sunbathing, cycling and having barbecues!

Despite all of that running around, I still managed to create some new packaging for my miniatures since I know that a lot of people usually love cute packaging. What's cuter than packaging for your tiny donuts?

Packaging comes free with purchases (terms and conditions apply) and is listed on each individual menu which offers it. If you would still like a bespoke handmade box for your miniatures, I can also make one for a fee.
Boxes! All handmade
Gift wrapping service now available as it says here in this poster
Extremely cute cake box with cake patterns on it!
Whole cakes are put into a nice box with a window (so you can display it in the box)
Cupcake box, introduced in the last post
Donut box - great for displaying those precious cuties! Comes with a window
New in the 'Sweets Boutique' menu - packaged chocolate candy. Perfect for sharing
I also made these 2d tea party set - complete with bunting! I was going to price it for £6 a set or free if you order anything above £30. But hurry - they come in extremely limited quantities. I didn't list this on the menu but please mention it in your order if you are interested.

A perfect companion for your paper dolls?
Complete with bunting, tea sets, cupcakes, cookies, tiered cake, cake slices and many more items!
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend and I shall see you very soon with more new items.

Toodles!
