Crêpes Ahoy!

I've been a busy bee in the Littlest Sweet Shop kitchen making new dishes for brunch. Here are some crêpes that I had just made last week. It will be listed on this website soon under a new category/menu.

Macaron fridge magnets - instant boring fridge makeover!

Recently I sold some macaron fridge magnets to a French buyer (hope she likes it!). Food models look good on a fridge since you can display your cute miniatures and decorate your fridge all at the same time!

I would recommend 1:3 scale macarons if you are planning to decorate your fridge with it. Warning: The pastel candy colours can make you feel peckish.

Any other food models with a flat base (cake, cookies, donuts, pie, box of donuts, box of chocolates) can be turned into fridge magnets. Just ask and I will add the magnet to your order for free!

Valentine's Day at Littlest Sweet Shop

Happy Valentine's Day!!

It's quite a special Valentine's Day today as I have just completed the base of my diorama! It is basically a miniature 1/6 scale Littlest Sweet Shop (if it ever existed)! The reason why I'm so excited about this project is that it was such a challenge working on it since it is also my first ever diorama. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to make one in school when I was a young girl.

I still have flowers and other decorations to make in order to finish up the diorama but for now - enjoy the Valentine's Day themed specials and some bits from my new diorama.

New items, improved photography

I have to admit - most of the pictures on this blog are taken using my iPad and not even edited at all. It's been that way to save time. Between modelling and managing household work (I'm a housewife), I don't have much time to invest in any marketing for my modeling work. I realise that if I wanted to sell my models the photos need to be good and clear. After all, people are buying my artwork based on how good they are. To look good, all of my models need to have all of the intricate details documented in a picture.

I don't own an SLR nor do I have a degree (or even training) in photography so I've done my best to capture my most recent work. Hope you like it!

As usual, if you have any interest in any of these items, please send me a query using the order form on the left.
